The facilities

Access

The former ships basin provides up to 7m water depth below chart datum, and is located at the entrance to Falmouth. Access to the wonderful Falmouth Estuary and beyond could not be bettered and the sheltered marina entrance will offer a safe return to port in all weather conditions.

Yacht berths

Port Falmouth Marina will incorporate the latest innovations in pontoon design to provide, wide walkways, stable finger pontoons, adjustable cleat positions, built in pontoon fenders, effective deck lighting and minimal deck clutter.  In addition there will be remotely managed power supplies from 16amp to 125amp three phase, ensuring that power to the vessel can be maintained at all times.  Potable drinking water is also provided to all berths.

Security

Visitors and contractors to the marina will report initially to the Docks entrance thus ensuring that only authorised persons have access to the marina.  Gated access to the pontoons will provide additional security and 24 hour, year round, patrols will be provided by the marina dock staff and our own Docks Police, therefore ensuring the highest levels of security.

Shore side

An historic Docks building is to be converted to provide a marina reception right next door to the large car parking area.  Here will be found, clean, well appointed shower and toilet facilities and a launderette.   Waste recycling facilities and trolleys will also be found adjacent to this marina services building.

A marina ferry service will provide the “run ashore” into the heart of Falmouth Town, with many fine restaurants, bars, hotels, a multitude of shops, attractions to include the National Maritime Museum Cornwall and award winning beaches.
